Let’s get ready for September, together!

We’ve been super busy working on some exciting updates within Balance that we can’t wait to show you…

Because each child is unique…

If you already create learning events in Balance, you’re going to love the latest update we have added.

Many of our users have asked us how Balance could be used to help individuals. Do you have concerns about a pupil? Identified gaps in their knowledge? Want to do something about it? Well, you can now create learning events directly from the Pupil Analysis page, making it even easier to support each individual child in your school.

Simply select a student that may need some extra help and the KPIs that they need to work on and a new individual learning event can be created. Teachers could even use this feature with their TA to identify KPIs that need revisiting with individual pupils in their class.

Don’t re-do plans, re-use plans

Has COVID impacted your school’s curriculum plans as some of the curricula may not have been taught?

As promised, Balance now makes it easy for you to benefit from all your hard work by being able to re-use and edit plans for the next term or year.

We’ve introduced a ‘copy’ feature to our plans to make this process even easier.

Copy your medium and long term plans over to the next term or academic year in just a few clicks.

Pssst. Make sure you have set the correct dates in the admin section for the next term or next academic year to make this process even easier.

New SLT view, new ways to reduce workload…

Time is precious and we know that teachers want to spend their time teaching, not sending plans over to their SLT. With our new SLT view, we’ve cut out the fluff, no more chasing documents, additional workload, or extra emails.

SLT members now have the power to view and download teachers’ short or medium-term plans. Teachers can get back to what they do best: teaching, and SLT members can focus on providing the best learning environment for the pupils in their school.
