Performance Management process involves every member of staff in a school, it’s critical to make sure that it is effective, but also straightforward. That is why we use Perspective.
Perspective enables me to quickly monitor progress and view any evidence that departments generate. We will use it to monitor the delivery of our Funding Agreement with the DfE.
Just started using the lesson observation facility… marvellous! So easy to use.

The SEF is clearly structured around the most recent Ofsted framework and allows the School Improvement Plan to emerge logically from the outcomes of the SEF.
Getting up to speed entails a short and intuitive learning curve. In no time at all you’re creating a range of bespoke observation templates, writing up SMART performance objectives, and much more.
Our review process has run much more smoothly! With all documentation held in one place, we could access objectives from a variety of devices and the reminder emails were really helpful.
A key point for me is also being able to have an overview of a staff member’s performance at the touch of a button, and not having to complete an overview sheet after each observation.
Perspective has been very useful in streamlining the administration of our appraisal processes. We also found the SEF assessment questions really helpful, and were impressed with the report produced.
The Bite Sized Questions gave our SLT an ideal starting point for writing the SEF. They gave us a clear indication of where to shout about our strengths, and more importantly, where to focus our efforts.
