We’ve made some BIG updates to Balance…
With lots of big changes to the Education Inspection Framework right around the corner, we’ve been busy updating Balance with brand new features to give you extra support.
Let’s take a look:
Personalised Curriculum
This is a big one.
When EIF comes into force in September, personalising your curriculum will be more important than ever before. In turn, Balance now lets you adapt and customise the curriculum even further. You can easily add, edit and delete objectives, sub-modules and modules – as well as move them across different NC years. It’s especially handy for Key Stages, but more importantly – will help you clearly and easily demonstrate ‘Intent’ during assessment.
At a glance:
- Add, edit and delete curriculum at all levels (excluding Subjects)
- Move curriculum modules between NC years within subjects
- Work on a draft curriculum before publishing a final version
- Work on next year’s curriculum
- View or print draft or published curriculums for all years (with objectives and weightings)
Extra Analysis
Get a clearer picture of where your pupils are quickly and easily.
We’ve added the 1-9 drop down filters to your Individual Pupil Analysis to help you see what’s going on.
Searchable help
Help and support have been upgraded to make finding the answers you need quick and easy.
Save time by using the keyword search to find relevant help guides when you get a bit stuck.
Still can’t find what you’re looking for?
No worries. We’ve also added a live chat button, so there’s always help to hand, whenever you need it.
Design tweaks
We’ve tweaked the appearance of few bits here and there. You’ll see the Working Deeper logo added to learning objectives, and bolder ticks and crosses on the learning matrix to make things clearer at a glance.
That’s it for now.
Keep your eyes peeled, though.
We’re currently working on some even more exciting features to help you save time and tackle your workload.
If you have any burning questions about these updates, just give us a bell or drop us an email.
One of our lovely Angels will be able to help.
