New Perspective Schools Release

As we look towards the summer break, a new Perspective release has landed! On Friday 6th July Perspective was updated with a host of new features to help schools get ready for the summer and the new term in September.

The new Teaching Standards and Performance Management system comes into force in the new Academic Year, as does another new framework from Ofsted (released in draft last week). As ever, Perspective is there to support you.

This email signals the continuation of the most intense year of development ever for Perspective, and over the course of the coming months you will see a variety of new features, updates and changes, starting with this release which focuses on Performance Management. As ever, all our schools gain access to all of our updates seamlessly as part of their annual licence, so you don’t need to do anything but login and view the changes.

The Perspective team will be dealing with the new framework changes in the summer release as ever (when we get a more formalised version of the documentation), and details about this will be released in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out.

So, what is in the new release? Here are the main headlines, with further details included below if you want to read more!

  • Performance Management Updates
  • New SEF Report with Targets
  • Auto Save features
  • New Column style planning reports
  • Terminology enhancements
  • Enhanced support for iPad/iPhone users
