Welcome Angel Interns!

As well as all the permanent Angels who have joined our team recently, we’re delighted to have three talented university interns working with us over the next month.

The interns are settling well into our new Space Launch offices, working alongside long-term staff members on our newest innovations.

The Internship Programme

The funded internship programme from Liverpool John Moores University aims to improve student employability after graduation from university by giving students the opportunity to learn new skills, work alongside experienced employees and gain invaluable experience from working in a real business environment.

Angel Solutions is committed to developing young people, whether that’s through the educational establishments our products serve or through our various mentoring opportunities we offer each year.

Maths student Lisa Tinkler said:

“I am very excited to be joining Angel Solutions. I believe I will learn a lot from the placement, and am particularly looking forward to working alongside an expert team. Leaving university to find full time employment is a daunting prospect, but Angel Solutions’ mentoring scheme is already teaching me how to adapt the knowledge from my degree to meet project tasks.”

Chief Executive Andy Kent — himself a University of Liverpool graduate — recognises the importance of giving local students practical work experience:

“We have always benefited from the hard working, enthusiastic graduates that have joined Angel Solutions. Since the business has expanded, we believe it is important to give something back to the community. Our internships provide students with a valuable insight into the workplace, whilst maintaining and growing local relationships.”

We hope our interns enjoy the experience of working with Angel Solutions and look forward to seeing the contribution they can make over the 20 days they’re with us.
